Founded in 2016 by Principal Faye Michelle Quinney, a prestigious Carl Alan Award Winner, Studio84 has quickly established itself as one of Derby’s leading centres for theatrical and freestyle arts training.

We proudly offer expert tuition across a broad range of disciplines, including Acting, Acrobatics, Commercial Street, Ballet, Freestyle, Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Singing. All classes are delivered by fully qualified industry professionals and are affiliated with respected examining and training bodies including I.D.T.A, I.S.T.D, A.D.F.P, and L.A.M.D.A.

At Studio84, our classes are designed to be both fun and safe, creating a supportive environment where pupils develop strong technical skills while also building confidence, creativity, social skills, and lasting friendships.

In addition to weekly training, students benefit from a wealth of opportunities such as auditions, examinations, competitions, festivals, performances, and annual showcases. Our Theatre Dance Team and Freestyle Competition Squad have achieved outstanding success, earning multiple titles, finalist placements, and championship wins. 

We are also proud to maintain a 100% pass rate in our annual examination sessions.

Many of our students have gone on to audition successfully for professional stage, television, and film productions, performing at leading regional venues and securing roles across a variety of platforms.

Studio84 students have also gained places at highly regarded associate programmes, vocational schools, colleges, ballet companies, and talent agencies, reflecting the quality of training and guidance they receive.
