A fast paced and energetic style of dance seen all over the world on stage and in competitions. This type of dancing usually includes runs, spins, kicks and leaps. It encompasses speed, agility, suppleness and strength. Students are encouraged to develop their own individualism as well as working together as a team.
Showcasing a dancer's individual style and originality. Jazz dance is a unique combination of moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns. To excel in jazz, dancers need a strong background in ballet as it encourages grace and balance. Jazz is most commonly seen in Theatre, Shows & Musicals

As well as specialising in the techniques of the Performing Arts industry and widening our Theatrical repertoire by focusing on a Musical per term, our SA pupils will build confidence, encourage creativity, enhance social skills and make new friends.
